Big News on the babies.. yes babies~

We went in for our 7 week US on my b day ( aug 16th) and  I was so nervous I was not going to hear a heartbeat... Well imagine our shock when my dr found two babies and two heartbeats .. we were in complete shock.. We only had 3 mature follicles... about 4 mins into the US... the dr found a 3rd baby.. at first was not sure it was a viable baby.. but then she saw the heartbeat... so our shock turned to panic and more shock. We are having triplets.. what a birthday I will remember.
We went to the high risk doc this week and we had another US.. they are growing and the heartbeats were 156, 124, and 137.. all within normal and all measuring well...
We are in a bit of a panic regarding finances.. knowing i will not be able to work for that long.. dr estimates end of Nov early Dec then light bed rest or full bed depending on how babies do.
We are thinking of moving out of the house we love..and moving to our old apt ( only 1 bedroom but its huge) as  much as we need the space.. the rent on this house is to much for Kass to do on her own when I am not working.. .. being a nanny we have no benefits so I can not get disability or anything..
Right now I am working on growing these babies and the rest will fall into place.

We also had a newborn foster baby for 2 weeks.. he went to his family ( an aunt and uncle and brother and older cousins) A house full of love.. it was heartbreaking to leave him today but I blame the pregnancy hormones....


so welcome to my pregnancy of 3

5 weeks still pregnant

Today was the  start of week 5... this last week has been surreal and I am still in shock.

K is really excited ,she made me this cute little home made card with a little poem in it.. she bought this outfit for the baby.. i put a stop to her buying any more.. We are still in a very critical stage and though i remain hopeful and optimistic.. i am cautious and nervous. 

I wake up every morning checking for bleeding.. sigh!

I have had good betas .. i am trying to adopt the motto " today i am pregnant" and enjoy the early days.

I have been peeing a lot and get heartburn.. boobs hurt on occasion and i am tired.. very tired.

Went in for a 3rd beta and will get results tomorrow am.

BFP

I am not the best blogger.. I have not written in quite some time... July flew right by and here we are into August already..

AF finally came on July 1st.. Did the same round of medicine.. 100 mg clomid from days 3-7 and Menapur days 5-11. I had 7 good sized follicles. Iui was set for Sat the 14th but the RE wanted me to wait until Monday the 16th to give me more mature follicles.. 

I was not sure about waiting so long ( day 16) but went with it anyways. Iui was at 930 am on Monday July 16th.

K and I went on a week long camping trip right after my Iui.. so I was able to relax and not have kids jumping all over me .. It really was a great relaxing trip. We spent a lot of time in the lake. 

I tested at 12dpo and got a BFN.. so I figured i was out this cycle. Sunday I had some light spotting so I thought AF was on her way.. I was like ok we are out this cycle. I was planning to take a break for a few months due to a new job and just needing a break. 

Monday ( day 14) I had this weird feeling and no more blood.. so I took another test and to my shock got a BFP.. I was so freaked out and ran to the doctor to get a blood test.. My first beta number was 102.. 

Second beta was 439 on day 17... 

I am nervous and excited.. I am just so in shock that I am pregnant...we are pregnant.... Due April 8th 2013

I am on 600 mg of progesterone and still taking metformin...
